Confirmation

What is the Sacrament of Confirmation?

Confirmation is the sacrament after the First Holy Communion. This sacrament is a Christian rite, deepening one’s relationship with Christ and claiming their baptismal gifts. Confirmation is usually received at the end of the 8th grade by instruction in the Parish Religious Education Program. A 2-year program (7th grade and 8th grade) is in place to instruct students about being a witness to Jesus, to serve others as Jesus did, and the importance of the Holy Spirit (the fruits and gifts of the Holy Spirit) in their lives.

* John 20:19-22
