* The Guadalupana committee is in charge of organizing the festivities in honor of Our Lady of Guadalupe. For this purpose, the members of this committee meet once a month to raise funds throughout the year to celebrate our Guadalupana faith. We also maintain the Guadalupe sanctuary of our parish.
Every year, we begin the celebrations at the end of November, with the reception of the Guadalupana torch. Which comes on a pilgrimage, from state to state (from the Basilica of the Virgin of Guadalupe in Mexico). On December 3rd, we began praying the novena in honor of our heavenly Mother.
On December 11th we celebrate the traditional mañanitas — on the day of Our Lady of Guadalupe (December 12th), we commemorate her great appearance with a Solemn Mass. This holiday unites hundreds of devotees in our community who all come to pay tribute with faith and love.
